Our Story

ReEvolve International Relief Foundation (RIRF) is a charity organization serving underserved communities in Virginia and abroad. We exist to transform the lives of underprivileged individuals by providing natural health solutions for optimal living.

Founded by sisters Garnet Nelson and Dr. Carine Hallbrown, ReEvolve was started to honor their late mother, Beryl May Peharie-Shadie, who embodied service to others as a way of life when she was still alive. According to the sisters, “we came up with RIRF to continue her legacy in her honor by providing education on healthy nutrition and lifestyle to the community where she lived and served.”

Our health and wellness approach is all-encompassing, and our services and events cater to individuals’ mental, physical, and spiritual needs. We employ the whole health approach targeting all aspects of health and wellness to assist individuals in achieving balance, harmony, and overall well-being.

Programs & Impact

Achieving optimal human health and well-being requires addressing various needs like physical health and wellness, mental and emotional well-being, and spiritual balance.  Through naturopathic means, we use natural and non-invasive methods to promote optimal human health and well-being.

Our vocational training programs offer individuals the skills, knowledge, and confidence they need to pursue careers in culinary arts, mechanics, construction, and anything requiring hands-on skills.

Importantly, we provide mentorship and career counseling so that they can navigate their chosen career paths stress-free, knowing that we got their backs.

  1. Through strategic partnership with Adopt A Destiny we refer seniors and college students for scholarships.
  2. We partner with businesses to provide real-time work experience and skills training resulting in job placement.
  3. We partner with local universities who offer stipends for associate degrees.

We provide holistic behavioral health solutions to underserved communities with the tools and techniques they need to manage mental health issues. That way, they can build and maintain healthy relationships, improve communication skills, and develop coping strategies for life’s challenges. We rely on professional counselors and therapists to achieve this goal.

We use natural and non-invasive methods to promote optimal human health and well-being. And, to promote the body’s healing ability we leverage solutions such as herbal medicine, nutrition, acupuncture, and lifestyle counseling.

With an emphasis on preventative care we concentrate our naturopathic services on health fairs and alternative healing education to promote awareness and mindfulness.

We designed our nutrition coaching service to provide underserved communities with individualized dietary guidance to enable them to achieve their health and wellness goals.

Our nutritionists educate individuals on the importance of including natural, whole foods. Join us today by donating to promote healthy eating and holistic living locally in Virginia.
