Dr. Carine Hall-Brown, N.D., is an educator, holistic doctor, and lifestyle coach in the New York Tri-State area, where she’s led group and individual natural health seminars and training for XX YEARS. The wife and mother of two children, Bianca and Persaud, lives in the Bronx, New York.
As a child from Portland, Jamaica, Dr. Hall-Brown spent her early childhood experiencing the healing powers of natural herbs under the tutelage of her late mother. Here began a lifelong appreciation of local herbs and their healing properties. She would expand on her learning by obtaining an associate degree in Agricultural Science in 1992 at The College of Agriculture in Portland, Jamaica.
Even with stellar academic accomplishments, Dr. Hall-Brown believed there was a greater calling in her life. A devout Christian, it was no surprise that her church, the Mt. Sinai Seventh Day Adventist in Queens, New York, would nominate her as the Health and Temperance Leader. In her new role, she would lead monthly sessions on the importance of health and temperance. And, true to her nature, Dr. Hall-Brown felt it only made sense that she pursued her doctorate in Holistic Health. In YEAR she graduated with a Ph.D. in Naturopathic Health from Clayton College. She would establish herself in the area of Naturopathic Medicine by forming her own company and tending to the health needs of others across the country and in her hometown of Portland, Jamaica. Dr. Brown uses her expertise in herbal therapy, blood analysis, and massage therapy to help ill patients turn their lives around. A vegan for over 20 years, she hopes to help others in her community adopt holistic principles as a way of life for better health and longer lives.
Dr. Hall-Brown’s passion started as a young girl in Jamaica, West Indies. Almost 50 years since she expressed curiosity about the holistic lifestyle habits of her mother, Dr. Hall-Brown has become more than she ever dreamed – she credits her achievements to her faith.
